Yeh jism koi rait ki deewar nahi hai
is tarha bhikarna mera miyaar nahi hai
mehroom-e-tamanna hun na maayus-e-tamanna
bas saath meray waqt ki raftaar nahi hai
aawaaz faqat sun ke to mat jashan manaao
logon! yeh meri aah hai jhankaar nahi hai
woh shakhs kahin per mujhe mil jaaye to keh dun
koi tere zakhmon ka kharidaar nahi hai
pehchaan zara ghaur se hum rooh-e-safar hain
tu yeh na samajh , raasta dushwaar nahi hai
