So here is a complete update

Just after getting married on 20th April, I flew for Lahore on 22nd April for 7th National Thalassemia Conference & Workshops, came back on 24th April, started my preparation for Thalassemia International Conference, which was taking place on 11th May to 14th May in Antalya, Turkey.

Flying for Turkey..!

So, I started my travel along with a doctor and a thalassemia friend of mine on 9th May… travelling alone ever in my life that also internationally, leaving mom for 6 days, travelling without husband.. everything was depressing it was hard to control myself.. the moment I reached Turkey I wanted to come back Pakistan and hug mom tightly tried to stay strong.. managed 6 days.. kept myself busy in conferences and beauty of Antalya

On the last day of our stay we went to Istanbul, did sight-seeing, did city tour, shopping and headed to airport for our flight to Pakistan.. I just couldn’t wait to see mom, family and of course husband :p

On 16th May I came back to Pakistan, had awesome time in Turkey, learnt ‘few’ new things at conferences, rest were old :/

After coming back so many things kept me busy, apart from personal stuffs.. I decided to stop blood camping for few months.., as it is really hard to arrange venue for blood camp, then calling people to donate blood is really impossible.., making them understand the NEED of blood for thalassemia patient is hectic! I decided to keep acknowledging people through website, blogs, interviews, twitter, facebook and I decided to raise more funds for needy patients.

Alhamdulillah with the help of donors we are now sponsoring 3 children from Fatimid Foundation, Karachi. And by the end of December we will be sponsoring 2 more

SK Collection

That was something about Thalassemia.. now coming back to myself.. I have started a new venture SK Collection!

SK Collection is currently about imitation jewellery, soon it will be carrying more products inshaAllah.. I started SK Collection on 10th November, wondering what does SK stands for ? S for Salman (brother’s name) K for Khurshid (mother’s name)

Salman used to use SK Dev for his online identity.. so just trying my luck with his prayers.. for this venture I would definitely give credit to my mom, family, husband and Royal Bangles Collection – Royal Bangles is something which gave me inspiration

So this was my complete update keep praying for us, supporting us, motivating us PLEASE!

25th June (22nd Rajab) – dad’s death anniversary..

14th July – Nauman bhai’s death anniversary..

One after another.. I guess sometimes Allah wants to test us from every direction..

How badly I missed all of them on my nikkah can’t be described.., there were family members, friends, colleagues, everyone.. and I kept looking for dad and brothers in the crowd..

The things friends/family members did for my wedding should have been done by dad and brothers.. instead of uncle, dad should have been my wakeel for nikkah..

No complains.. no complains at all.. I just wish that dad and brothers keep praying for me and family.. and I know they all must be in heaven, enjoying the luxuries

Mom and Daughter

Mothers are most of the kids best friend, I have a special bond with my mom, a very special bond…, my mom shares almost everything with me and I share everything with her, even our dark secrets are shared with each other.

If I get ill my mom doesn’t sleep all night, that was the time when I was use to think if God forbid anything happens to mom will I be able to stay awake all night? And I did achieve that place, we can never return the love, care our parents showed for us, but still we can try.

Since few months mom having diarrhea problem, whenever she is restless I stay awake all night and Alhamdulillah I doesn’t even feel tiredness, mom is bit shocked that how I manage to stay awake but I have told her ‘just like you stay awake for me’

Please remember my mom in your prayers, I have lost enough of my loved ones, can’t bear any other lose!

But nothing could change my love for them and today my song list only contains LOTS of slow/sad songs , when I miss Salman or dad a lot I listen to them hours and hours…, few days ago I heard Janay nahi de gen tujhe from movie 3 idiots, it badly reminded me of days when Salman was in hospital, I was trying every single thing to make him come back to life…, but real life is way different than movie

Last night I heard Noor e Khuda from movie My Name is Khan, it’s a wonderful track too.., I questioned Allah a lot of them when Salman was hospitalized, I wanted HIM to do some miracle.., I even said to many friends that doctors said that after 24 hours they will remove ventilator but Allah just need a second to make him come back to life… and am sure HE will do it…

I ain’t a lady of weak faith/belief, I have STRONG faith on Allah but I was very much upset when I heard that 1 second which I was waiting for didn’t come ever and a news came that Salman is no more with us…

I know Salman that you are in  heavens and must be enjoying but Salman… your panda miss you a lot
