ProPakistan To Host Pakistan’s First Blog Writing Competition

This is a great pleasure to announce that we’re holding Pakistan’s first blog writing competition. The competition is open for all established and no established bloggers and aspiring bloggers of all ages round the Pakistani Blogosphere. The purpose of this competition is to promote the blogging trend in Pakistan, and to explore the ideas with which Pakistani blogosphere can help the different societal, political and economic problems.

The Theme is “Pakistani Blogosphere & Rebuilding The Foundations Of Pakistan”, and you’re free to wrap your thoughts in best possible title and details of about 500 words. Below is the further detail of the competition. Please do ask if there’s any confusion:

….. Speechless!

I have been disappointed by my friend’s attitude.. khair.. I don’t even want to talk about it anymore..

Meanwhile we were getting arrangement of blood camp done there were few other things running in the background, like traveling to lahore, getting things confirmed for it and all..

It wasn’t confirm that either we are going or not, firstly they were giving train tickets and we rejected to travel in train, then on 12th January in midnight it got confirmed that we were going on 13th January at 12:15 am.

Everything got done and we headed toward Lahore, now what we were invited for?

YPP is Youth Parliament of Pakistan, a non-profit, non-political, non-religious program initiated by Abrar-ul-Haq. This organization is inviting Pakistani youth to come forward and work for Pakistan.. in whichever field they are comfortable with.. They want the youth to identify problems and give solutions for them.

They have started a reality based show called “Kaun hoga naujawanon ka Wazeer-e-Azam”, and they are inviting interested groups from all over Pakistan for this show. We (me, Salman, and YLap) were invited too.

It was an awesome experience, the part I loved the most is when Salman got standing ovation and hug from Abrar ul haq

Blood Camp: Some more details

Alright, after some working we have managed to get one more facility at the camp from Fatimid Foundation and that is HB Electrophoresis test!!!

Many people would know that when you donate blood at Fatimid you get tested for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis and Malarial parasite and that also for free!

And now you can get yourself tested for Thalassemia Gene (HB Electrophoresis Test) at the camp for just Rs. 300 only!

This test cost 1100/- in Aga Khan, 900/- in The Lab, and I don’t know about other laboratories.

So are you going to take the advantage of this offer or not?
