Happy, Curious, Down……….

Who cares what goes around you? Do you? Nah.. No-one have spare time to peek in your life and try to understand you or give you some time.., I don’t know whats wrong with me tonight..
Maybe because am down, Maybe because am fedup, Or maybe because am an Idiot.. Who knows the truth?
Okay… Lets talk about the subject I gave, Am Happy because my logo has been selected and its On the site, Am Curious because.. I won’t tell you the reason : ) Its secret!, Down.. because am not feeling well : (, Busy because of damn exams I have to give in June…!

Oh, I forgot.. Am Angry too! Angry on myself.. Why the hell I always start studying in the end days..!?!?! Blah! What can I do about it now? Maybe I will cut down my activities in next exams? Thats ofcourse a hard task for me.. But why not give it a try?
Well, If I don’t remember this thing.. you better remind me about it! Maybe I will listen to you and do something about it..

Trying…

Irritated.. Yeah..! that’s what I am these days and right now.. Why the hell I always burst out.. or lose my temper? I can’t even imagine I have been fighting with my 6 years old Nephew 😐 😐 , I have been arguing with my elder sister 😐 😐 & with MOM!!!? 😐 😐 !! All on same dayyyyyy!!

I wasn’t like this before.., I don’t know what is wrong with me.. Is it the climate? Is it my ill-ness? Or is it the study pressure? 1 + 1 + 1 = 3, And these 3 things are DAMN reason for my lose temper.., But who understands you :@? Nephew needs time to understand.., Sister doesn’t want to understand because she thinks that my habit of losing temper going to be a permenant problem if I doesn’t stops it now..(Somehow I think she is 120% right, But who’s mind going to work in Anger :S? Not mine), Mom thinks the same.. She always try to tell me the Facts I Hate..(You will be going to someone’s home and you going to cut my nose, and etc.. World mom’s Nasihaatain..)

And, even if I tell my friends about it.. I get same replies.., Sometimes I think they can’t understand me,, and they think Am wrong all the time..! But sometimes (Only when am Cool!) I think am really wrong and I should work on my anger…

Well! Need time? How Much? Had Taken Alot Time Before Too? You Ain’t Going To Change Your Temper..You Simply Can’t..! Hey Hello? Shut Up! And Let Me Work On My Temper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (That was my idiotic mind and my heart fighting :s :$ :S )

My nephew is an actor ;P

My nephew’s line which made me laugh for hours..!!!

“Mera bag pack kerdo, Mein ghar chor ker ja raha hon”

Common Thinking: A filmi dialogue.., Right?

My nephew (Hammad) was complaining my mom that “you brought Ice-Cream for Mamoo & Khala, App ko mein yaad nahi aya? App log mujh se pyar nahi kerte, app chahte ho ke mein Ghar chor ker chala jaon?”

I just entered the hall for drinking water I heard him saying, There was a shopping bag filled with his old clothes His mother brought to give away was placed at Sewing Machine, I took that & I gave him & says “ja yaar ja”

After that, he brought a new toy and was playing around his mammo..Mammo scolded him that Bad mein khelena apne ghar ja kar, he didn’t stopped.. and mammo took the toy and throw it around the balcony.. Hammad took the toy and throw the toy outside the balcony..! came back sat on Sofa next to Mammo and said in a sad tune “Mein kabhi kabar tu khelta hon, Tum logon mujhey khelne bhi nahi dete, Mera bag pack kerdo mein ghar chor ker ja raha hon”
😐 😐 😐 6 years old kid giving a filmi dhamki!

I just love him!!! he made me laugh for hourssssssssssssss!!!

Hope Or Fame?

Thalassemia – A blood disease.. who doesn’t know about it these days? Almost every 2nd person know everything or little bit about it.. I think its all because Media made us realize What kind of disease is it.., Hum mein se kafi log jante hain ke yeh abhi tak la-ilaaj hai aur Doctors ki koshish hai ke jald-az-jald is ka ilaaj mil jayen.. Koi shak nahi hai is bemari ka bhi Ilaaj zaroor mil jaye ga.. jaise ke Khud Allah Tala farmata hai

Aisi Koi Bemari Nahi Hai Jis Ka Ilaaj Na Ho, Siwaye Mout Ke

Sirf koshish kerni hai, umeed rakhni hai, aur dua kerni hai 🙂 baki kaam Doctors aur Allah ka hai..

Thalassemia ka ilaaj aik hi abhi tak sab ke samne aya hai jo ke BMT – Bone Marrow Transplantation hai.. jo abhi tak 100% successfull NAHI hai.., is ilaaj mein app ko aik donor ki zaroorat hoti hai jis se app ka HLA match karey, Donor mein se Marrow le ker Patient mein lagaya jata hai.. aik lamba process hai aur risky bhi..

Khair, jaisa ke previous post mein I posted an article about Stem-Cell so keh sakte hain ke yeh naya ilaaj hai jo kafi kamyaab aur sahi lagta hai.. research per gour kerna aur akhiri nateejey ka intezar kerna humaray naseeb mein hai so wohi hum kersakte hain phir wohi baat hai.. ke baki ka kaam Doctors aur Allah ke hath hai 🙂

Stem-Cell per aik aur article Jang mein publish howa which I think is a Detailed One and worth-sharing.. So here it is..

Thalassemia Main Mubtila Bachay Bhi Ab Sehat Yaab Ho Sakain Gay

As a Thalassemic I would love to get cure as soon as possible, at the same time I feel proud to be a Pakistani because the Doctors who are doing research on Stem-Cell are Pakistani & Muslim :), Hats Off To Them!, May Allah give success to them in every way of thier life (ameen)!

Apni duaon mein mujhey aur mujh samait hazaron Thalassemic ko yaad rakhiye..

Allah Nigheban!

Another hope, Another try..

While surfing blogs I found this news on a blog called PakPositive, It took my attention and just after this news, an article was published in Jang newspaper..I will share that too..Its about the same thing I am going to mention below BUT it has some addition which I think I should discuss about..InshaAllah tomorrow I will post that article with my views.. Till then read this one 🙂

Autologous stem cell therapy introduced in Pakistan

Blood transfusion dependence in thalassaemia to come down

By Asadullah

KARACHI: For the first time thalassaemic patients have been treated with their own blood stem cells reducing not only their blood transfusion frequency but also lowering their iron overload significantly for the quality of their life, doctors claimed.

Dr Ilham Saleh Abuljadayel, a Saudi-born Britain-based cellular biologist, flanked by the director of Pakistan Medical and Research Council (PMRC) Dr Huma Qureshi disclosed findings of her clinical study on 28 Pakistani patients at the Orthopaedic and Medical Institute (OMI) on Tuesday.

Dr Ilham, the sole inventor of the TriStem Technology, has also applied her process of retrodifferentiation in four Indian patients of aplastic anaemia, using retrodifferentiated stem cells created from patients’ own blood in very large volumes, in a short period of time.

After her education at King’s College London, she returned to Saudi Arabia to work as an immunologist. She made her discovery by accident. She was trying to kill white blood cells by using a particular antibody when she forgot to add one ingredient to the mixture.

The result was not dead cells, but cells that had been transformed into stem cells. She called it the process retrodifferentiation: a reversal of the normal process by which immature stem cells differentiate to become mature adult cells. She is now in Karachi engaged in applying her technology on Pakistani patients.

Dr Ilham said the autologous stem cell therapy actually reduced the blood transfusion dependence of the thalassaemia major patients treated in this study by up to 70 per cent, without the need for an HLA matched donor, growth factors and invasive surgery.

“We have witnessed significant reduction in their (patients) iron overload as measured by serum ferritin by between 15 to 50 per cent without the use of any form of chelation in a span of 4-12 weeks,” she wised up The News after the launch of the study by President Pervez Musharaf the same day.

Stem cell therapy of TriStern is presently being applied to treat aplastic anaemia, leukemia, sickle cell anaemia, spinal cord injury, type-I diabetes, muscular dystrophy, Alzheimer, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, congestive heart disease and others.

According to Dr Ilham, the researching team of doctors at OMI has also applied the very stem cell technology to a 24-year-old diabetic girl, who started synthesizing her own insulin within four weeks of therapy. “It is amazing as her insulin requirement dropped significantly and her eczema disappeared too.”

Dr Javed Akhtar, medical registrar of OMI who conducted the administration of the retrodifferentiation technology, said it has proven to be safe in over 30 patients with no negative outcome or procedure-related mortality for periods up to 13 months. He said the follow up of the patients would last for 24 months.

“We have treated 28 patients of thalassaemia major with minimally invasive autologous stem cell technology, causing no harm during or after the procedure,” he maintained. “We have seen no side-effect at all in patients we have treated so far with the fully automated stem cell therapy.”

Tariq Mumtaz, the CEO of Healthcare Solutions International, said that the results of the clinical studies to date are very encouraging. “We are conducting these studies according to good clinical practices standards under the supervision of the principal investigator Prof Tasnim Ahsan whereas Quintiles is monitoring the protocol.”

“We are the first company in the world to successfully apply stem cell therapy to treat thalassaemia major, a debilitating and deadly blood disorder that affects hundreds of thousands of people and kills several thousand children before they reach the age of ten worldwide,” Mumtaz said.
